The JP Reed State Farm Insurance Agency is proud to serve Lafayette and the surrounding Contra Costa County with Insurance and Financial Services. A third generation State Farm Agent, JP was born in Bloomington, Illinois just down the street from our corporate headquarters. At the young age of 5 he moved to Southern California, where he was raised and spent the following 25 years of his life. In 2010 the Agency opportunity brought JP to the Bay Area!

JP graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Political Science but knew from a young age that he wanted to become a State Farm Agent, following in the footsteps of his family tradition. Outside of the office, home is the East Bay of San Francisco for JP where he enjoys his time with his wife Kelley and their two beautiful boys, Jackson and Grayson.
